The drum base and walls, which are coated with carborundum (flint crystals), will ensure turning and abrasion. The coarseness of the particles depends on the customer's requirements. After diamond, carborundum is the hardest polishing and abrasion material. It is even used in the armouring of military aeroplanes. The space between the bottom and the drum will effectively discharge the peel scrapings.
