Formed potato products are produced from mashed or shredded potatoes. This may be your primary process, or it could be a by-product of an existing production line. If the latter is the case, you will obtain more yield from your raw materials because you are also processing remaining potato pieces into an end product.
Our production lines offer you the opportunity to produce a wide variety of end products. All possible shapes, including potato croquettes, pommes duchesse, or smileys, with a wide range of flavours, can be produced. Especially for the extremely delicate frying process, we have developed a special fry-by-wire fryer, so that the colour and readiness of the formed product can be determined very accurately.
Tomanus was founded in 1975 as an offshoot of a trading company who supplied equipment to snack bars and restaurants. Tomanus was quick to break into the new market and began firstly by selling pre-frying lines and quickly followed by automatic pre-frying lines.
