The frying of French fries, potato chips or snack pellets is a complex process requiring a high constant temperature, steam discharge and transit times to determine the quality of the end product.
The Tomanus fryers are considered the worldwide standard. Continual innovations ensure technology that matches today's market demands: not just for a perfect result, but also the sustainable use of oil and energy.
The coating fryer has been constructed from two fryers in succession. The first fryer ensures a high temperature and adjustable transportation speed in order to fry the coated layer.
The second fryer will further fry the product until it has been properly cooked. During this process, temperature management and multiple filtering are essential for the quality of the product. Transportation through the fryers is realised by steel conveyor belts. Multiple flues ensure an optimum steam layer across the oil, preventing unnecessary oil oxidation. These specific features have ensured that Tomanus fryers renowed around the world.
The French fries fryer features optimum frying-oil management. This variable system, involving oil temperature and transit speed, allows you to fry the product according to your desired specifications.
The fryer has been provided with a compact frying pan, allowing a minimum of oil and a maximum of transported product, resulting in a very low oil turnover time. A heat exchanger and circulation pump ensure an energy supply with optimum temperature control and an insulated hood with insulated frame to help achieve the maximum yield. The unique two-flue design ensures a perfect steam layer for oil protection, preventing the oil from oxidising.
The snack pellets fryer is suitable for a wide range of snack pellets. A dipping conveyor belt takes the snack pellets through the frying oil and within 6 to 30 seconds, the snack pellets are fried.
The discharge conveyor belt is located underneath the hood of the fryer, so that the temperature around the snack pellets is kept as high as possible. A circulation system ensures correct energy supply and constant filtering of the frying oil without unnecessary energy loss. A lifting system for the hood, the conveyor belts, and the heat exchanger ensure optimum ease of cleaning.
